JOB PURPOSE :
The Report Developer supports the Corporate Data Officer and the enterprise through the transformation of curated data into useful reports and dashboards for analytical and operational uses. This position is directly accountable for the creation of and accessibility to enterprise reporting and analytical artifacts to support the operations and growth of Endeavors. Success is measured by the creation of visualizations, reports, dashboards, and other presentation materials as well as providing input into supporting datasets. High quality work is expected to provide effective artifacts in a timely and useful way.
QualificationsESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Administration: Manage access to curated datasets, enterprise reports and dashboards, and to enterprise reporting tools.
- Data acquisition: Maintain awareness of integrations with data sources and participate as needed for the acquisition of new data sources by providing requirements and feedback.
- Datamart/warehouse management: Provide input, requirements, and testing for curated datasets, maintaining enterprise goals for timeliness, standardization, and scalability.
- Data curation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of curated datasets. Provide requirements for SQL views needed for analysis, visualization, reporting, and presentations.
- Enterprise reporting capability: Direct the use of Power BI (or similar tools) to organize and automate reporting and analytics requirements.
- Certification of reports and dashboards.
- Develop and provide training for user community.
- Business acumen: Spend time with consumers, their work, and their data to understand what is needed and important.
- Report creation and maintenance: Create and maintain enterprise reports and dashboards for leadership. Results should be user-friendly, accurate, timely, relevant, and contributing to the company's goal of providing excellence and exceeding expectations.
- Report availability: Ensure that enterprise reports are consistently available as needed by consumers. Troubleshoot consumer issues.
- Report quality: Ensure that enterprise reports are accurate and validated against source data.
- Data availability: Work with the data management team to resolve issues to ensure that enterprise data are consistently available as needed by consumers.
- Business continuity: Ensure that Power BI report backup plans are in place and adequate to meet the company's recovery time requirements. Understand where failures can occur, both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Compliance: Support HIPAA and privacy laws for clients and sponsors.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION : High School diploma is required. Bachelor's Degree in a related field or related work experience is preferred.
EXPERIENCE : 3+ years developing business intelligence artifacts (visualizations, reports, dashboards, etc.). Preference for Power BI competency and for some experience with complex builds; Domo is a plus. 3+ years building queries of low to medium complexity. Preference for SQL, DAX, and/or PowerQuery; Python, R is a plus. Experience translating business requirements to work tasks and estimating the time needed to perform the tasks. Experience with relational database concepts and familiarity with database development including tables, stored procedures, and functions. Direct experience doing accounting functions or indirect experience working with accountants and financial reporting preferred.
ATTENDANCE : Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.
LICENSES : Driver's License with clear record.
VEHICLE : Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
OTHER : Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
