Our client in the North Shore is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join the team
Duties:
- Lead the overall commissioning team and process
- Modify/develop project commissioning plans
- Participate in peer review of designs
- Review equipment submittals
- Conduct commissioning team meetings
- Conduct field inspections for conformance of the Construction Documents and submit corresponding reports
- Maintain an issues log of deficiencies
- Develop, witness and document functional test procedures
- Work together with our Engineers to trouble shoot
- Verify and witness owner training
- Write commissioning reports
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Technical or Associates Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Equivalent Level of knowledge
- 2+ years of experience with practical work experience, such as Controls Technician or HVAC Tradesman
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Commissioning
- Minimum 4+ Years of experience in the Construction Industry
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Project Management experience a plus
- Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, and/or PECI Cx and RETRO-Cx procedures and protocols a plus
- Willingness to travel at least 50% or as per project needs
