Our client is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to lead the management and expansion of the company’s IT infrastructure. Also, Performing day to day task and updates to the environment. This role demands deep technical expertise in Azure infrastructure, Intune MDM, Apple Business Manager, and SSO, The System Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing IT solutions that ensure the scalability, security, and performance of company systems. The role also includes managing Microsoft Teams administration and Slack for collaboration platforms and handling critical infrastructure components such as Box, AWS, GoDaddy, and DigiCert, as well as managing websites at the admin level. This position will be hybrid.
Responsibilities:
- Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Management
- Architect and manage Azure infrastructure, including enterprise applications, virtual networks, and storage solutions.
- Manage and optimize cloud services in AWS, ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
- Administer Box for file sharing and content management, ensuring secure storage and user access across the organization.
- System & Software Management
- Oversee Intune MDM for both mobile and desktop devices, including device compliance policies and Intune update rings.
- Manage Apple Business Manager (ABM) for efficient mobile device enrollment and application deployment.
- Website & Certificate Management
- Manage website configurations and administrative functions for domains and hosting through GoDaddy.
- Oversee DigiCert for SSL/TLS certificate management to ensure secure communications for websites and internal systems.
- Provide admin-level website management, ensuring that all digital assets are maintained and secure, and address any technical issues promptly.
- Security & Identity Management
- Engineer SSO solutions to streamline secure authentication and access control across multiple systems and platforms.
- Administer LastPass key management for secure credential storage and distribution across teams.
- Collaboration Tools Engineering
- Administer and manage Microsoft Teams, ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft 365 applications and effective use across departments.
- Manage Slack, configuring workspaces, channels, and apps
- Automation & Scripting
- Engineer automation workflows using PowerShell to automate tasks such as software deployment, system monitoring, and on-prem to cloud migrations.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery Engineering
- Design and implement backup systems and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Regularly test recovery processes to validate the ability to restore critical systems and data in the event of an incident.
- Systems Integration & Documentation
- Lead the integration of IT systems from acquired companies, ensuring alignment with company’s standards and seamless transitions.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of system architectures, configurations, and processes for audit readiness and future scalability.
- Vendor & MSP Collaboration
- Collaborate with vendors and MSPs to design and deploy advanced technical solutions, ensuring best practices for infrastructure management and security.
- Oversee vendor relationships to ensure timely and effective delivery of services, while troubleshooting escalated issues as needed.
- Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies through audit log reviews and security assessments using Microsoft Defender and other tools.
- Assist in compliance audits, ensuring systems meet regulatory standards across Office 365 and Intune environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering
- Advanced experience with Azure infrastructure: management of virtual networks, storage, VMs, and security controls.
- Experience in deploying and managing cloud services with AWS and Box for secure cloud storage and enterprise solutions.
- Expertise with Azure enterprise applications, including configuration, deployment, and scaling in a large environment.
- Automation & Scripting
- Expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation for system management, deployments, and complex configuration tasks.
- Proficiency in creating automated workflows for cloud infrastructure, email security, and compliance tasks.
- Experience with automating security-related tasks, including user provisioning, security audits, and log analysis.
- Email & Security Engineering
- Strong experience with Office 365 email security, Microsoft Defender, and Azure security policies, including threat protection, anti-phishing measures, and security audits.
- Knowledge of SSO implementation using Azure Active Directory, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and identity management for secure access.
- Experience managing LastPass key management for secure credential storage and distribution across cloud environments.
- Compliance & Disaster Recovery
- Proven experience managing backup systems and disaster recovery plans with a focus on Azure, Office 365, and cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in Office 365 security, conducting compliance audits, and managing eDiscovery processes for legal and regulatory compliance.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role.
- Experience with Azure infrastructure, AWS, Intune MDM, Office 365 email security, Box, GoDaddy, and DigiCert.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
