We are seeking a Software Engineer to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. The Software Engineer shall be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of software applications and systems within the efforts infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data utilization, etc.
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Installing and configuring software applications, databases, and middleware components according to best practices and system requirements.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
- Performing routing maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and backups to ensure system reliability and security.
- Providing technical support and assistance for end-users
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Here's what you need:
- Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Experience with software development in an Agile environment
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Experience providing recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Experience configuring and managing security policies, firewalls, and access controls to enforce security.
Security Clearance:
- An active TS clearance to start. SCI eligibility preferred.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$97,300 — $196,500 USD
