Hardware Test Engineer - Robotics

Job Description:

1. Set up test benches and computers based on released protocols/instructions.
2. Support development of test benches for subsystem and subassembly electromechanical hardware testing during design development, in manufacturing and/or for reliability.
3. Debug and modify existing test scripts.
4. Execute tests and collect test data based on test instructions.
5. Document results and report to engineers.

Responsibilities:

1. Document results and report to engineers.
2. Knowledge of programming concepts and ability to modify existing scripts (Python and Unix).
3. Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
4. Experience using data acquisition systems.

Preferred:

1. Intermediate knowledge of automation and servo control systems.
2. Work experience within a Medical Device manufacturing environment.

Experience:

1. Electromechanical hardware testing.
2. Fixtures setup, test execution, data collection, and documentation.
3. Script modification, test setup debugging, and troubleshooting.
4. Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Product Development Testing.

Skills:

1. Electromechanical Hardware Testing.

Education:

1. Engineering degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics plus 3 years of industry experience.
