Senior SaaS / M365 Engineer
Chicago, IL (loop) – onsite 3 days, WFH 2 days/week

Summary
This is a brand new role that is open due to our push to the cloud (Azure/M365). We have several key SaaS applications that we're looking into integrate into our M365 environment, and optimize functionality as it relates with our core cloud stack using Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure AD for SSO, etc.

We're looking for candidates that have experience integrating SaaS applications into M365/Azure, and optimizing the functionality of these applications over time.

The key apps you'll be working with are DocuSign, WalkMe and Jira.

What you'll be doing

1. The right candidate is expected to provide technical leadership in establishing robust service administration protocols, and they will work with their colleagues in identifying, documenting, and supporting our business use cases for our evolving core services.
2. Administers the company Enterprise SaaS Platform, including DocuSign, WalkMe, Jira along with their integrations.
3. Provisions sites and accounts, and oversees management of the provisioning process, using any tools provided to facilitate the process.
4. Continually develops the processes and policies for provisioning & de-provisioning.
5. Collaborates with other key cloud stakeholders to provide collective oversight of the SaaS Applications Platforms.
6. Promotes optimal usability of SaaS Applications capabilities.
7. Have a good understanding of Integrations of SaaS Platforms to Azure and M365. Can provide the guidance and can implement such configurations.
8. Monitors roadmap for upgrades to SaaS services and establishes the mechanisms by which we share relevant changes with our people.
9. Works with the office of the Director of Information Governance in ensuring content management policies for SaaS Applications are complying and updated as business needs evolve.
10. Works closely with the Security team, prioritizing safety of the company's systems and content.
11. Identifies potential points of integration between SaaS platforms services on the core device-top and works with technical colleagues to deliver key integrations.
12. Provides level three support for functional requests relating to SaaS Platform services.
13. Continually evaluates opportunities to improve our people's experience of technology, preferably in a scalable way.
14. A coach and mentor to other team members, providing training if required.
15. Fosters trust and builds relationships with the other Information Technology teams.
16. Attends regular vendor meetings for areas of expertise, stays informed of latest technology roadmaps, security notifications, and bug/hot fixes.
17. Ensures vendors provide proper levels of support, maintain SLA's, and provide root cause analysis for escalated issues.
18. Ensures all team, departmental and company policies and procedures are adhered to, including technical change management and service continuity.
19. Where appropriate, attends user groups independently or with senior managers and makes recommendations of how improvements can be made.
20. Attends and contributes to team meetings.
21. Completes all administrative tasks, i.e., (time tracking, project and task updates, trouble ticket notes, status reports, responding to email, etc.) accurately and on time.
22. Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet company goals and objectives.

Skills we're seeking

1. 5+ years of experience with SaaS Application Engineering
2. 2+ years of experience with M365 Engineering – Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.
3. 2+ years of experience with Azure engineering – ideally using Azure AD
4. Must have SSO experience with SaaS application integrations

Nice to have experience

1. Python and/or PowerShell scripting experience to automate processes
2. O365 experience
3. Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field
