Process Engineer- Controls

The Process Control Engineer will:

• Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Analyze project scopes, establish criteria, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical guidance to teams, promoting a safe and effective work environment.

• Education: Bachelor's Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in process control or similar roles in refining/chemical industries 8 years in controls supervision without a degree.
• Technical Skills: Advanced skills in modeling, multivariable control, DeltaV, DCS/PLC configuration, and instrument tuning.
• Other Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)

• Engineering Expertise: Guide engineering efforts to ensure safe and compliant design across projects.
• Project Management: Define and control project scopes to improve refinery operations and oversee work quality, budget, and timelines.
• Training & Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and trainer to new engineers, keeping teams updated on technology and best practices.
• Advanced Control Projects: Lead and optimize control system design and implementation to enhance unit performance.
• System Maintenance: Ensure the efficient operation of Process Control System (DCS), Multivariable Control (MVC), and Safety Instrumented System (SIS).
