This team accomplishes this with constant monitoring and timely alerting of issues to the appropriate teams.Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems at American Airlines by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, and making the codebase a better place to live and workWhat you'll doCollaborates with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirementsMaintains and enhances existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven developmentTroubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutionsCreates detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimatesResearches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performanceSupports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelinesWorks closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needsAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training4 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments4 years of professional, design, and open-source experiencePreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceExperience with AIOPs platformsSRE experience5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experienceAirline Industry experienceSkillsProficiency in Full Stack DevelopmentProficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:Front End Programming: ReactJS and/or NodeJs, typescript, javascriptBackend Programming : Python , Java.Database and persistence frameworks: MongoDB, SQL Server ,Cloud-based development: Microsoft Azure, Azure functions ,AKSWeb Services/API Layer: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)Frameworks: Apollo, GraphQLFront-end: Angular, CSS3, HTML5, SASSBuild/deployment tools: Azure devops, Kubernetes/Azure Kubernetes, DockerOther Dev Ops Toolchain: Cypress, Git, VS Code, JestProficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUMExperience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous DeploymentExperience with Mobile development preferredWhat you'll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
