Position Overview: Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer specializing in security solutions, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust software systems that enhance the security and resilience of our nation's critical assets.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
2. Must have a minimum of 2 years of technical experience in high-tech software development

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. Experience in SQL and understanding of database design and theory
2. Strong command of Object Oriented Design
3. Previous work with various networking protocols (SSH / TCP/IP)

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Participate in the entire software development cycle by analyzing, designing, and developing new features and products
2. Build new software solutions in a Linux environment using C++ and Qt development framework

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Enhance the functionality, performance, and scalability of our product suite
2. Learning and contributing to products on a variety of architectures: RESTFul APIs, TCP/IP client-server, Web Application, lower level hardware interfaces
3. Produce detailed documentation such as Functional Specs, Interface Control documents, User Guides, etc.
