Python Developer

Location: Hybrid in Reston, VA

Duration: 6+ months

IC or W2 acceptable / No 3rd parties

AWS/Python (Integrations/API’s)

• Extensive Python development experience to build AWS lambdas and step functions.
• The role requires hands-on experience with AWS/Python for developing integrations/APIs between ERP (Workday), Forecasting solutions (Anaplan, Oracle, Workday Host analytics), Data lakes, and Master data management (EDMCS)
• Extensive prior experience implementing ELT applications and SQL experience.
• Knowledge of various AWS products (S3/Redshift/RDS/Glue/SQS/SNS) to support integration work between EDMCS, Data lakes, and Reporting applications.
• Using CI/CD tools to deploy AWS infrastructure using configuration templates.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/Urban code/Bitbucket
• Knowledge of reporting solutions (Tableau, AWS Athena)
• Strong Manual and automated testing experience.
• Knowledge of Cloud SaaS applications like Workiva, and Workday is preferable.
