Are you an experienced Electrical Drafting Designer with a passion for working on large-scale projects like CO2 Liquefaction and LNG plants?


You'll play a critical role in designing and developing electrical schematics, panel layouts, and one-line diagrams for gas processing and refrigeration systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Use AutoCAD Electrical to create precise technical plans for electrical systems, translating engineers' specifications into schematics and blueprints.
  • Compile, analyze, and integrate engineers’ rough sketches and initial designs into comprehensive technical drafts for project managers' review.
  • Develop detailed wiring diagrams, incorporating engineering specifications and design information.
  • Revise technical drafts as directed by engineers or project managers.
  • Create design drawings such as one-line diagrams, control panel layouts, 2D fieldwork drawings, hazardous area layouts, lighting, and cable tray/conduit layouts.
  • Participate in the design process by collaborating with engineers and designers, contributing ideas, and developing rough sketches for electrical systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documents, data templates, and CADD symbols to support electrical design and data entry.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical is required.
  • Strong attention to detail in creating electrical symbols (e.g., chassis layouts, terminal blocks, panel layouts).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical design principles is highly recommended.
  • An associate degree in Drafting & Design is preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand ISA P&ID and electrical symbols is required.
