Electrical & Computer Technologies Associate

REQUIREMENTS

1. A degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field of study
2. Demonstrated understanding of machine learning, molecular biology, and sequencing technology
3. Familiarity with gene editing, immunology, microscopy, and systems biology is a plus
4. Graduated with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school
5. Admitted to the USPTO
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
7. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Interfaces with clients and inventors at all stages of the patent process
2. Prepares, files, and prosecutes patent applications in the United States and abroad
3. Conducts freedom-to-operate, infringement, and patentability analyses
4. Assists in other responsibilities or projects, as requested, or needed.
