As a DevOps Engineer, you will oversee the daily administration of the servers and facilitate APiJET development, quality assurance, and automation for all environments. You will work closely with the engineering team to design, implement, and validate solutions for client and employee use cases. You will also assist in supporting and troubleshooting client environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor all installed systems, containers, and infrastructure
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks and remediate
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Champion infrastructure as code with Terraform , Bash , and Python
- Build and maintain observability and alerting systems
- Lead CI/CD with GitHub Actions
- On-Call for production systems
Required Skills and Abilities:
- 3+ years of Linux containers in low-downtime production environments
- 3+ years running production workloads in AWS
- 3+ years of scripting with Bash and/or Python
- 2+ years using GitHub Actions supporting CI/CD
- 2+ years managing multiple environments with Terraform
- Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or green card holder)
Educational and Physical Requirements:
- The company is headquartered in Seattle, Washington, and this position must be within a 30-mile radius of Seattle.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder).
