Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Design Creation:

• Develop original designs for seasonal collections, including clothing, accessories, and footwear.
• Create detailed sketches and technical drawings for production.

Trend Research:

• Stay updated on fashion trends, color palettes, and fabric innovations.
• Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to inform design choices.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are executed accurately.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams for cohesive brand presentation.

Sampling and Fittings:

• Oversee the creation of sample garments and conduct fittings to ensure proper fit and finish.
• Make necessary adjustments based on feedback from fittings.

Presentation:

• Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Participate in fashion shows and promotional events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a fashion designer or in a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable practices in fashion design is a plus.
