Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide Electrical Engineering support to a complex DoD program
• Translate end-user requirements into functional designs
• Own the design process for assigned projects
• Interface with vendors on specifications for printed circuit board manufacturing and assembly
• Apply knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering processes, design, development, and testing
• Work as a hardware developer in a DoD-related organization

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
• 2 years experience with PCB layout software (Altium or equivalent)
• 2 years experience with analog and digital circuit design as well as PCB layout and analysis
• Demonstrated ability to plan and design project work to meet objectives and requirements
• Experience with industry standard Computer Aided Design products for documenting system designs

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout software
• Experience with RF circuit/antenna design and test methodologies
• Familiarity with FPGA and ASIC logic design and hardware integration

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering is required

Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position
