Job Responsibilities

  • Manage ElectroMagnetic Compliance (EMC) testing and certifications.

  • Design testing setups and fixtures to support and arrange testing of Micron products.

  • Initiate and drive analysis and testing programs to determine electromagnetic emissions and immunity.

  • Develop test methodologies and systems to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate closely with Business Units (BUs), Micron engineering teams, and external partners to deliver test solutions on time.

  • Review, post-process, and analyze EMI test and characterization data to benchmark and understand product performance.

  • Ensure hardware and software are enabled and available for testing.

  • Support testing and measurement of various Micron devices.

  • Consult with internal and external engineering groups to provide solutions to EMC challenges.

  • Solve and find solutions to various Micron product EMI/EMC issues.

Experience

  • Three or more years working in EMC/EMI or related field.

  • Solid engineering experience in electromagnetics, including radiation, transmission, reflection, and cross talk.

  • Proven ability to work in a laboratory environment with instrumentation such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.

  • Circuit probing and near-field electromagnetic probe experience is a bonus.

  • Familiarity with LabView programming language is helpful.

Education

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent related experience.
