Sr. Data Engineer

• Architect and manage scalable data solutions for high-performance analytics.
• Oversee the development and optimization of databases to meet complex reporting needs.
• Write and maintain Python scripts for sophisticated data transformation and automation.
• Lead data migration projects from on-premises systems to the cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
• Monitor, optimize, and scale data workflows for efficiency.
• Develop and enforce best practices for data engineering processes.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale data migration projects.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex querying and database management.
• Strong experience with Python for advanced data manipulation and automation.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor team members.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills and experience working collaboratively.
• Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud-based data services.
• Experience with semi-structured/NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Cloud data certifications are a plus but not required.
