Do you want to play an important role in supporting technology for space applications? As a Product Engineer for Hybrid DC-DC converters, you will support the development and production of new devices and take product engineering responsibility throughout the product life cycle - from development to production ramp-up and qualification. With your relevant experience, you will have a direct impact on meeting our productivity targets and our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for DC-DC products (documentation, troubleshooting, analysis and qualification) to meet Production Yield Goals.
2. Support production by troubleshooting DC-DC Converters, supporting functional tests and providing trimming process guidance.
3. Ensure the resolution of non-conformances from failure mode to root cause through corrective and preventative action.
4. Perform analyses (Stress and Thermal Analysis, MTBF -Reliability), as necessary.
5. Design and develop test hardware, using Cadence Allegro, and perform simulations for analysis.
6. Support the release of design packages and review customer specification datasheets.
7. Support external tests, such as vibration and shock, as well as radiation tests, including Total Ionizing Dose (TID) and Single Event Effects (SEE).
8. Develop and implement test fixtures for ATE (Chroma) conversion projects.
9. Initiate, write & release new test programs to ensure timely new-product release to production.
10. Perform test validation, improvement, qualification and release to production per corporate standards and procedures.
11. Identify root causes and resolve problems, related to automated test equipment (ATE), test adapters, main board and test fixtures.
12. Work with operations to identify and document test improvement opportunities.
13. Support the test engineering and design teams to define proper test concepts.

Qualifications:

1. Masters/bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Microelectronics).
2. Minimum 2-5 years' experience in semiconductor industry (preferably product and/or test engineering).
3. Basic experience on related product testing in terms of hardware, test correlation, test summary/data uploading, release process and interfacing.
4. Strong understanding of electronic engineering principles in areas including analog and digital circuits, power supplies, and DC-DC converters.
5. Experience in PCB schematic capture tools such as OrCAD / Cadence Allegro.
6. Basic programming experience programming in C / C++, VBasic or Python.
7. Hands-on experience performing bench electrical measurements using signal generators, DVMs, oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
8. Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and team working capabilities.
9. Excellent communication skills and able to interact with multiple different stakeholders.
