You will focus on providing Grainger customers with deep insights that help them to improve their spend. You have experience testing and automating in e-commerce sites and familiar with best test practices. You can be based in either downtown Chicago or Lake Forest, Illinois and will report to the Manager, Product engineering.You will:• Functional & Regression Testing Applications• Test Planning and Estimation• Cart / Checkout domain knowledge and experience on Hybris testing• Cross team support and communication for integration / regression testing• Knowledge and experience on shift left process and being quality advocate on the team.• Collaborating with the team on Performance Testing, Security Testing, & Resiliency• Maintain and enhance Test Automation suites.• Bug Reporting & QA metrics• Provide coaching and mentoring of junior QEs as applicable.• Domain Knowledge – Mobile ios application testing and ML Models on AWS, Kubernetes platforms• Testing in a Cloud/AWS, CI/CD DevOps environment• Proficient in using Github• Have experience in writing and validating the python/SQL scripts• You treat deployments/releases as non-events because you are a disciple of the theory of continuous delivery with a history of its application in practice.You have:3+ years of experience in a related industry.5+ years of experience in an IT related field.Strong communication capabilitiesStrong working knowledge of testing techniques and QE practicesBasic understanding of Stubs, Mocking, Service VirtualizationBasic understanding of White-Box/Component Level TestingWorking knowledge of Test Data & Environment Management (TEM)Experience working in an Agile environment, Strong communication skills in written and verbal form.Bonus: Experience with ALM, postman, WDIO automation, E-commerce experience.Our Benefits:With benefits starting day one, Grainger is committed to your safety, health, and wellbeing.
