The Job

As a Cybersecurity Engineer you will be passionate about cybersecurity and see security as an enabler, a differentiator to support the business through innovation, not just a step in the compliance process. In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for protecting LucidLink systems and information assets from all threats. In addition, the team is also responsible for supporting the Information Security requirements of our internal and external audit programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform implementation and configuration of cyber security controls and tools to protect LucidLink Services, Endpoints, Systems, and Data.
  2. Participate as a Cybersecurity team member in daily tasks, which include but are not limited to prioritizing, investigating, and troubleshooting events and incidents.
  3. Perform day-to-day operations of security solutions and the identification, investigation, and resolution of security events detected by those systems.
  4. Assist with managing security systems and software, including SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, DDoS, and anti-malware software.
  5. Work with DevOps and Development teams to implement new systems and processes to ensure secure infrastructure, platform, and code.
  6. Create and document new and existing processes.
  7. Process security requests ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
  8. Participate in the system audit process to verify compliance with adopted processes, policies, and standards.
  9. Write comprehensive reports, including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
  10. Help build a culture of organizational security by working closely with employees.
  11. Act as a security champion to the overall organization.

Job Requirements:

  1. Experience supporting Endpoint protection controls such as MDM, EDR/XDR.
  2. Experience with Identity Management Tools such as Cloud based IAM, OKTA, or AzureAD.
  3. Experience with security tools and controls (SIEM, AV, firewalls, EDR, IDS, Vulnerability Mgmt. etc.).
  4. Familiarity with cloud-related technologies (cloud applications, cloud services) and cloud/web-related technologies.
  5. Experience with scripting languages Bash/Python.
  6. A team player with the ability to handle multiple work streams and support various team projects to completion.
  7. Ability to collaborate effectively in teams within all levels of the organization.
  8. Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
  9. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  10. Experience with incident triage and response process.
  11. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
