NVIDIA is hiring a Data Engineer within our new finance data science team in Revenue Finance. You will work alongside data scientists, finance, and sales ops shaping how we analyze revenue, reimagining existing processes and incorporating data science into revenue forecasting and business analytics. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to challenge the status quo, constantly innovate and break down complex problems, and effectively communicate technical solutions across organizations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Combine business insight and the data engineering toolkit to support critical revenue finance data science initiatives.
- Develop and deploy data for models quickly, refining data as models progress and then strengthening code as models go into production.
- Leverage scheduling, automation, and data orchestration tools to create efficient data pipelines for data scientists in the Finance and Sales organizations.
- Translate technical solutions into business language and business requests into technical solutions, communicating with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure solutions are understood by all involved and meet business needs.
What We Need To See
- Bachelor's or Master’s in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics or other relevant field) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or 2 years with a clear passion as demonstrated by portfolio work and bootcamp completion.
- ETL/ELT experience, including Git, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and use of an orchestrator (e.g. Airflow, Luigi, Jenkins, etc.), and testing tools like pytest or great expectations.
- Ability to write readable and maintainable code (primarily in SQL, Python/PySpark), knowledge of scientific libraries for data processing (Numpy, SciPy, Pandas).
- Experience ensuring data accuracy and data quality while querying data from relational databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Experience collaborating with IT, InfoSec, business partners, and data scientists to build end-to-end data pipelines.
- Experience using modern Data Platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or an AWS/Azure/GCP equivalent.
- Basic understanding of statistics and machine learning.
- A passion for data engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
- Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce.
- Experience with nontabular data formats (JSON, XML, PDF, etc.), API’s and other non-traditional data sources.
- Experience supporting a business focused data science team (finance, sales ops, HR, marketing, supply chain, etc.).
- Experience with app development frameworks like Flask.
- Data Versioning tools like DVC, Data Processing tools like dbt.

The base salary range is 108,000 USD - 212,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
