Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Pataskala, OH and Frazeysburg, OH
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast paced, hands-on environment, supporting production by applying engineering principles to Continuous Improvement projects, Capital Equipment acquisition and commissioning, machine design, and day-to-day production support. Other duties include vendor communication, identifying Continuous Improvement opportunities, and assisting the Product Development and R&D groups.
This position will be required to support production at Ridge Corporation’s locations in Pataskala and Frazeysburg, Ohio.
Primary Duties:
- Supporting production by troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements to equipment
- Mechanical Design of CapX projects and supporting equipment
- Creating and maintaining 3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Materials, Work Instructions and related documents
- Performing Project Management responsibilities
- Upgrading existing equipment to improve safety, quality and efficiency
- Support the development of new products and customers through R&D
Requirements:
- BS Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years of proven CAD experience
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferable SolidWorks
- 3+ years of project leadership experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Mechanical design experience in a Manufacturing setting
- Self-motivated, innovative, creative, and resourceful
Beneficial Skills:
- Robotic programing and commissioning
- Lean Manufacturing experience – ISO / IATF / Six Sigma / OSHA
- Experience with manufacturing and thermoforming of composites and thermoplastics
