Ideal candidates will have previous experience with GD&T, CMM programming, fixing, and tooling and interpreting drawings and specifications for development. *ALL candidates MUST currently hold an Active Secret Clearance. * #clearanceIf you or someone you know is interested in hearing more please send all resumes to *(email protected) * for immediate consideration.*Industry: * Aerospace & DefenseLocation: King of Prussia, PA (onsite)Rate: Open for discussionLength: One Year Contract +Clearance Level: Active SecretCMM Programmer/Operator Job Description:Summary of Key Duties for this Position:Develops and reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts.Develops CMM process including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines.Identifies root cause of complex issues and ensures effective corrective / preventive action to improve processes.Develops and implements new inspection processes and automation methods.Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.Basic Qualifications:Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection of manufactured products (machined components and assemblies)Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)Experience with CMM programming, fixturing, and toolingDemonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issuesProficient skill level with Microsoft Office applicationsDesired Skills:Experience programming Zeiss (Calypso) and / or LK CMMsExperience in GD&TExperience with automated processes and robotic technologiesExperienced in reviewing tool designsLean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificationSAP Application experienceExperience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipmentThank you,Amanda Alburger - Professional Recruiter, Applications and DevelopmentApex SystemsEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
