The ASIC team within Ring/Blink builds differentiated silicon for security cameras, doorbells and floodlight cameras. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be building low level software including drivers that interfaces directly with ASIC. This software will be provided to internal customers for developing IoT products. You will be part of a strong team in a fast-paced start-up environment where agile development is embraced and innovation is encouraged. Key job responsibilities
- Develop low level device libraries that is consumed by higher level SDK
- Develop device drivers using the low level libraries
- Test the software using software simulation and FPGA based emulation
- Measure performance of various components including power and bandwidth
- Have prior experience in BSP (Board Support Package)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
