Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder looking for a motivated civil engineer to grow with our established military construction engineering program. Learn under an experienced program manager to help deliver design, permitting, and construction support for a wide variety of engineering projects on military facilities nationwide. Responsibilities will include working with an established team of architects and engineers to prepare civil design plans, coordinate with review agencies to ensure designs are compliant with land use, stormwater erosion and sediment control, access, and military guidelines. Participate in pre-bid meetings, prepare addenda and respond to contractor questions, and provide engineering construction support during the construction phase.

Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of civil engineering experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member, maintaining composure, and working effectively in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
- Ability to work in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Ability to perform site design, grading, drainage design, geometric analysis, quantity take-off, cost estimates, and specification development.
- Ability to prepare engineering reports and analysis.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to obtain Professional Engineering certification within 1-year of hire.
- 4-year degree from ABET accredited university in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Organization and multi-tasking ability.
- A good work ethic, attention to detail, and high level of personal integrity.
- Possess excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills;
- Ability to prioritize effort and effectively be engaged on multiple projects at one time.
- Experience with military construction, funding, and planning.
