Job Title: Senior Requirements Engineer
Location: Reston ,VA
Contract Term: 6+ Months
Weekly 40.00 Hours (Mon - Fri)
Description:
· You will own sole development and direction of User Needs and User Stories, in an Agile environment with iterative sprint cycles
· You ensure end to end requirements traceability to software test cases
· Your strong written and verbal communication skills will drive and direct the team
· You enjoy collaborating with team members, sharing your knowledge, and continuously improving your craft

· You have a proficient understanding of the software development life cycle and the ability to articulate it

· You have a vast background of commercial product (software) development implementation
· Experience in training and mentoring junior requirement engineers on best practices and leading new initiatives will help to direct the team
Preferred Qualifications:
· 8 years of experience in documenting requirements
· 3+ years working in an Agile environment, with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate User Stories and Conditions of Satisfaction to development teams
· Mobile solutions and web based software development experience
· Ability to elicit, create, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements
· Experience organizing and maintaining Product and Sprint backlogs
· Experience presenting detail summaries of progress and updates to software applications
· Ability to facilitate and drive group discussions to build a shared understanding of software requirements
· Ability to foster solid working relationships with senior level management and subject matter experts inside and outside of the organization
· Experience working within teams that include offshore team members
· Experience using Team Foundation Server for Agile Software Development and work item tracking
· Propensity to mentor staff on functional expertise and provide peer reviews of deliverables for other product lines
· Exposure to Health Care or medical device/technology product management
· Confident in requirement knowledge to help lead change and implement new strategies company wide
