The selected candidate will perform radio frequency (RF) design, hardware builds, algorithm development, and analysis across a variety of both research and development and operational tasks. The candidate will help evaluate, select, integrate, and test commercial off the shelf (COTS) RF devices for forming complex RF transceiver systems. The ideal candidate will have an interest in supporting the full product life cycle from concept through prototype to production.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent field with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent field with 6+ years of prior relevant experienceWorking Knowledge of RF cascade analysisStrong technical communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environmentBasic understanding of DSP concepts (match filtering, coherent integration, etc.)Must have be a U.S. citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI PolyCandidate will live in Huntsville or be willing to relocate to Huntsville Alabama areaDesired Skills:Familiarity in any of the following tools is preferred but not required:C++ language (or other object-orientated language)experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS),Python and Unix is preferred but not required.Original Posting Date:2024-09-27While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
