Job Requirements / Description

Selectek is looking for a Project Engineer responsible for the strategic project management of new and existing products including product design and development. Responsible for product, tooling, process development, and the flawless launch of new products/processes to production.Required:4 year engineering degree or 5+ years mechanical design or related experienceAbility to read and interpret product, tool, customer, and machine printsKnowledge of GD&T and the automotive approval processProficient with SolidworksProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)Ability to work in a team environmentPreferred:Plastics or stamping industry experienceExperience with either over molding or insert molding and stampingsJob responsibilities:Perform project management duties utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) guidelinesProduct design and developmentCreate and perform design of experiments (DOE)Generate product improvements and/or cost reductionsPrepare cost calculations including feasibility reviewsDevelop and work with vendors to support project needs (tooling, gages, materials, testing, equipment)Lead design review process for new injection mold toolingProvide technical support to sales / customersSponsorship:  NoSalary Range:  $90,000 - $100,000Term of assignment:  Direct HirePay Method when Direct: SalaryWFH/Remote:  NoHours & Shift:  Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PMOvertime:  Some on occasionTravel:  NoWork Attire:  Business casualBackground Check/Drug Screen:  YesPlease contact Lizzie Johns at 470-203-0754 or for more details.Â
