Position Summary
Tyndale Advisors Marketing is seeking an experienced graphic designer. This person will work, at our offices in Eugene, Oregon. The successful candidate will have experience creating and executing multimedia brand campaigns, formulating event experiences, and evolving brands and creative processes. They should have an eye for detail and work well under pressure and with deadlines. They should also have a good feel for U/IUX, digital, print, social media, ecommerce and other advertising venues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities include: Design digital ads on both website and social media interfaces. Work with different content management systems - most are custom written (ie. not WordPress or similar). In addition, candidates must be able to:
- Builds website content that meets the needs of our clients and achieves the goals of our business.
- Works with visual design style guide to ensure continuity of site design across all consumer touch points.
- Designs on-site assets including home pages, landing pages, category banners, etc.
- Designs off-site assets including emails, social media, remarketing ads, etc.
- Designs web editorial content including buying guides, how to guides, enhanced product information, etc.
- Work within Photoshop for image knockouts, compilations and text treatments.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2 year degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Website Design or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3+ years experience as a graphic designer.
- Excellent design and typography skills
- Experience in website UI/UX and eCommerce platforms.
- Experience with website design related platforms, applications, and technologies.
- Experience creating content for responsive websites.
- Proficiency in HTML and Adobe Creative Suite, general knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
- Possess excellent problem solving skills for technology/creative solutions.
- Must be able to work well with others as part of a team, as well as work independently.
- 2+ years of experience creating content for transactional eCommerce environments (desired).
- Print or large scale graphic design (desired).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices (desired).
