The Equipment Engineer III provides technical support for equipment at manufacturing sites in Colorado, focusing on installations, retrofits, and updates while ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Essential Duties
- Support maintenance and operations for bulking, filling, packaging, and serialization equipment.
- Source, purchase, and support equipment for product processes.
- Lead Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Develop and update technical documents like User Requirements Specifications (URS) and Installation/Operational Qualifications (IOQ).
- Analyze and resolve mechanical/electrical issues.
- Enhance safety, quality, uptime, and efficiency.
- Train staff on equipment use and maintenance.
- Lead investigations and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Support product development.
- Handle special projects as needed.
- Expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation components.
- Knowledge of PLC logic, Equipment Integration, and Automation.
- Problem-solving and team-oriented.
- Familiarity with FDA guidelines and cGMP.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D drawing software and technical documentation.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Uphold high ethical standards and compliance.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least five years of engineering experience in manufacturing, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
- Experience with serialization equipment is a plus.
- Office, laboratory, and manufacturing environments.
- Occasional weekend or evening work.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Up to 10% travel.
- Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 annually, based on experience.
