Site Designer for Civil Engineering Projects

Description

Leidos Engineering is seeking a Site Designer for Civil Engineering Projects to join our Power Delivery Services (PDS) division. This role will involve collaborating with civil engineers to develop site plans, grading and drainage plans, and site development details for electrical transmission and distribution projects. The position may entail remote work, with a preference for candidates in the greater Houston area.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Generate precise site design drawings and models
• Ensure accurate engineering design representation for substations
• Interpret survey data and assist with civil engineering project work

Basic required Qualifications:

• AA/2-year degree in Engineering Technology or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in site development
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Bentley In-Roads and AutoTURN
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Good communication skills
