Job Description

  • System Design & Firmware feature development for enterprise SSD products with knowledge of NAND operation/test modes to boost performance, endurance, reliability, and power.
  • System/component level testing & validation on test platforms including drive-level testing & contribute to integration efforts with cross-functional (PETE, device, design) teams.
  • Supporting component and drive-level FA effort.
  • Review of product specifications, provide cost/performance competitive NAND memory solution, and generate comprehensive report with bold and justified conclusion.

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical or Computer engineering with Masters/PhDs preferred, 8+ years of related experience in one or more of the following areas: 3D NAND device/design, SSD testing, NAND/SSD Failure Analysis, information theory and ECC development
  • NAND device/design experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of hardware design and validation will be a plus.
  • Experience coding in one or more of the following languages: Python or C++. Bash scripting as well.
  • Passion for problem solving.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work both with a global team and individually
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines

Compensation & Benefits Details

  • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
