Job Summary

Review and analyze processes in the manufacturing and electronics departments, provide technical assistance for process improvements and implement new equipment.

Essential Functions

  • Analyze manufacturing processes, production equipment, and methods for continuous improvement projects

  • Design, review and evaluate the manufacturing processes of new and existing products, including ergonomic assessments, productivity improvements, manufacturability, and cost improvements

  • Develop capital expenditure proposals and perform cost justifications for new equipment

  • Conducts studies in operations to maximize workflow, material routing, and spatial utilization

  • Provides technical assistance and engineering support in the form of process improvement including performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventative and corrective action as required

  • Conduct safety audits/assessments, identify and work with management to resolve safety issues, and ensure that accepted corrective actions are implemented

  • Decide how the company should allocate its equipment and labor within the framework of existing physical constraints and budget

  • Represent Crystal in the most positive manner with prospective and current suppliers and the community we serve
