Data Engineer

Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management is seeking to add a Data Engineer to its team. This role will work hybrid in Richardson, TX and works Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. This is a 1-year contract to hire role that pays $63 per hour. The key to this role is having a strong background in data engineering, with experience using Snap logic, snowflake, MuleSoft, and Azure. Upon conversion this role offers increased compensation, an annual bonus plan, and a strong benefit package.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated data pipelines to collect, process, and transform raw data from various sources (databases, APIs, etc.) into usable formats.
• Handle data extraction from different sources, apply necessary transformations to ensure consistency and quality, and load it into data storage or analytical systems.
• Combine data from different sources to provide a comprehensive and unified dataset for analysis, reporting, or modeling.
• Address data issues in the platform; Troubleshooting data quality issues, data cleansing, bug fixing, monitoring
• Attend meetings with the team
• Participate in quantifying the work; task estimation, project tracking, reporting
• Data validating; accuracy checks, cross-validation, schema validation, testing, documentation

Required Skills:

• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Application preferred
• Experience using Snap logic, snowflake, MuleSoft, Azure
• Strong attention to detail
• Great communication skills
