About This Role
We're looking for a talented Senior Platform Engineer to join our Data/Infrastructure Team. The Data/Infrastructure Team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the cloud platform that powers our core systems, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our services. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will take ownership of the platform's infrastructure, driving initiatives to optimize performance, enhance automation, and ensure seamless deployment processes.
Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-performing, resilient, and secure platforms, enabling our teams to build innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive the growth of our business.
Your Impact
- Enable customer insights via implementing and optimizing features that power our event-based targeting systems.
- Provide technical leadership on projects, guiding the team through key decisions and ensuring best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with product managers, AI engineers, and product engineers to facilitate the integration of backend systems with other components of the platform.
- Stay ahead of the latest technologies and integrate them into our systems to keep Sprig at the cutting edge of product research solutions.
- Drive data integrity and security by managing and maintaining databases, crucial for maintaining client trust and ensuring the accuracy of insights.
- Enhance platform scalability and performance by designing and developing robust backend systems.
Your Strengths
- 5+ years of software engineering experience focusing on platform, backend system, data infrastructure, or distributed computing.
- Experience with technologies we use, e.g., Redis, Kubernetes, Postgres, ClickHouse, Kafka, gRPC, REST, WebSocket, and S3.
- Write high-quality production code using Node.js or Golang.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Quick learner, good team player.
- Experience with low latency high volume data stores and platforms is a big plus.

Employee Pay Disclosure
The base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $210,000 + Equity + Benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all locations (San Francisco, CA; New York, NY). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
