SUMMARY: Seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to define, develop, and oversee the implementation of new manufacturing processes primarily for connectors and cable assemblies. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement projects and ensure high levels of manufacturing and product quality while maintaining cost-efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Create and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Lead and complete Kaizen events based on analysis of cell KPIs.
- Communicate project updates and progress to leadership.
- Coordinate with cell operators, engineering team, and management on project needs and implementation.
- Develop electronic and manual work instructions.
- Implement and validate new equipment and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support.
- Analyze production trends to develop improvement plans.
QUALIFICATIONS include a Bachelor's degree, three plus years of related experience, strong technical writing and presentation skills, and proficiency in Lean methodologies and Six Sigma.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS include sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT involves working near moving mechanical parts with limited travel. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus in accordance with the company's policy.
