CAD Design Engineer

One Tech Engineering is searching for a CAD Design Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The CAD Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, modeling, development, and testing of a machine, structure, or system.

The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder; the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and knowledge of fluid systems.

CAD Design Engineer Responsibilities

• Scoping projects based on risk calculations.
• Completing AutoCAD 2D design overviews and tie-in details.
• Supporting documentation for projects all over the company’s natural gas territories in Colorado.
• Support the project throughout its lifecycle including construction engineering questions and closeout.
• Develops functional requirements.
• Understands and applies standard engineering principles.
• Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test how a machine, structure, or system operates.
• Designs and tests components, and integrates components to produce the final product.
• Monitors quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes.
• Evaluates a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
• Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements.
• Work directly with external vendors and answer construction-focused engineering questions.

Requirements of the CAD Design Engineer:

• Bachelor's of Engineering degree from an accredited school.
• Engineering knowledge of fluid systems.
• AutoCAD experience required.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Good communication skills and detail-oriented.
