Job Title: Systems Engineer

Summary: Our client, a leading entertainment marketing agency, is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, preferably within a fast-paced environment supporting post-production, print, graphic design, or VFX teams. This role is perfect for a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving, communicates effectively, and is eager to expand their knowledge of various systems, software, and hardware solutions. The position involves working closely with a collaborative IT team on both independent and group projects.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose software and hardware issues by actively listening to user concerns and identifying appropriate solutions.
• Clearly explain technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical users.
• Provide support for Adobe applications such as Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to help creative teams resolve technical challenges.
• Troubleshoot post-production workflows and support related systems.
• Set up hardware, peripherals, and software; troubleshoot operating systems and networking components.
• Assist in adapting and customizing programs to meet specific user and business requirements.
• Offer in-person, remote, and phone-based support to end-users.
• Contribute to research and procurement of computer accessories and equipment.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience providing IT support, particularly in post-production environments.
• Knowledge of A/V editorial workflows is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with scripting and API integrations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL, Postgres, or MongoDB is a bonus.
