BSH Home Appliances Corporation seeks Engineer I, Product Development in100 Bosch Blvd, New Bern, North Carolina 28562 to specify and design the functional electrical requirements of various products.Communicate and coordinate electrical design issues with vendors. Direct testing and evaluation of new and problem electrical components (Controls, Motors, Heaters, valves, wiring, etc.). Supports field test initiatives and directives. Support software development and testing for appliance controls and operating modules Support and design the wire harnesses layouts. Support compliance to approval agency requirements. Support with development of wireless applications and components. Instruct assembly personnel how to properly install and connect electrical components. Guide test personnel how to efficiently troubleshoot appliances. Analyze field problems and returns. Support technical service in determining various causes and fix of problems reported from the field. Explore, develop, and recommend cost improvement ideas. Development of Tools and processes necessary to interact with control platforms as needed. Debug issues and determine root cause failure analysis.This position requires a bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and the applicant must have coursework experience with: (1) Electromagnetic Field Theory; (2) Computer Aided Design; (3) Instrumentation and Measurement; (4) Electrical Machine; and (5) Wireless Communication.RATE OF PAY: $91,766.22 - $121,543.00 per yearApplicants who are interested in this position should apply via online at search (Engineer I, Product Development / 8789)
