The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for developing system and network security design standards, network diagrams and technical design documents.
This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% in the office work environment. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship. #LI-Hybrid / #LI-Onsite
What will you do?
- Implement system and network (platform, LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and voice) security policies and procedures.
- Responsible for architecture, design, and monitoring the effectiveness cloud, virtualization, and other platforms.
- Participate in and or lead Computer Security Incident Response Team.
- Lead in firewall/VPN, network, MFA, application, policy, identity, architecture, design, and implementation.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of Infrastructure experience including:
- Endpoint Detection Systems (CrowdStrike).
- System log and Security log analysis (SIEM technology).
- Network and Web Application Firewall monitoring, management and administration (Cloudflare WAF, Bot Management and API Security, or Palo Alto Networks).
- Vulnerability management product experience (Qualys, Cloud and On prem data center).
