Title: Senior Offshore Facilities Engineer
KBR Consulting provides specialized consulting engineering services across the energy industry, including the offshore oil and gas industry. We are a client-focused organization that prides itself on developing innovative and practical solutions for our clients, utilizing the broad experience and technical capability of the entire KBR organization.
KBR Consulting is seeking a Senior Offshore Facilities Engineer, specialized in pre-development planning, to support the company’s growth and our goals to continue building our upstream consulting business. This person will be part of the leadership team for delivering multi-discipline engineering to support our clients in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Lead feasibility and early concept development planning work.
- Serve as a focal point for upstream capital and operating cost estimates.
- Provide leadership and direction for business development. Lead the pursuit of viable opportunities.
- Assist in identifying resource needs and in recruiting high potential candidates.
- Identify and communicate best practices and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with our development planning groups in other offices to build an efficient Worldwide organization.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 15 years of experience in design of offshore facilities, including feasibility studies and development planning.
- Proven track record with clients.
- Strong knowledge of offshore development planning, including both subsea and facilities, including different facility types.
- Experience with brownfield projects and production optimization.
- Working knowledge of flow assurance.
- Track record and knowledge of the US and Latin American clients and markets.
- Ability to lead marketing efforts and engage directly with clients to win work.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
Education & Skills:
- Experience with onshore field development is a plus.
