Systems Engineer I

Patrona Corporation is looking for motivated individuals ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in supporting PEO IWS, the U.S. Navy's office responsible for acquiring state-of-the-art ship and submarine combat and weapons systems, as a Systems Engineer.
Patrona Corporation is a DoD federal contractor providing program management, engineering, strategic and operational planning, quality assurance, financial management, and administrative support services.
This position is contingent upon the award of the PEO IWS contract.
Work Location

• Washington D.C. metropolitan area
• This position allows a minimal opportunity to work remotely.

Security Clearance

• Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline. No required professional experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Management of networks, overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. Responsible for integrating various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices.
• Duties include managing the development cycle associated with producing resilient software, hardware and web applications, including specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance.
