Work you'll do:
Candidate will join a team of high-performing data scientists and data engineers to deliver cutting-edge analytics for high-visibility national security missions.
- Candidate must have expertise in formatting and loading a high-volume of data in cloud environments.
- Candidate should be comfortable working with cloud technologies, such as Apache NiFi and pyspark, to prepare data for analysis.
- Candidate must have the ability to understand and implement cloud-based data systems to optimize data delivery and storage architecture and ensure consistency throughout ongoing projects.
- Candidate should have experience managing large-scale processing systems where performance and scalability issues need continuous maintenance.
- Candidate should have strong strategic communication skills to present quantitative concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to deliver insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- 3+ years of Cloud Technology experience - ETL - Automated, Pyspark Programming, Apache NiFi.
- Experience formatting and loading high volume data in cloud environments.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree.
- Ability to understand and implement cloud-based data systems to optimize data delivery and storage architecture and ensure consistency throughout ongoing projects.
