Power Simulation Lead Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA - 100% Onsite

Salary/Rate: $130K-$145K

We are looking for a Power Simulation Engineer to join our product development team. You will be working closely with our tier 1 customer on consumer product platforms simulating power consumption of complex SoC/MCU based systems with various specialized modules in numerous use case conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent industry experience with focus on power simulations.
• 5+ years of experience in simulation and modeling power profiles in electrical circuits using Matlab Simulink.
• Experience in simulating power profiles in SoC/MCU based devices typically used in consumer smart devices (phones, wearables, speakers/displays, cameras).
• Ability to network, build relationships and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize and balance multiple work streams to tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge and experience with electronic circuits and applications.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in electrical engineering with focus on power simulations.
• Strong knowledge in electronics circuits and familiarity with circuit simulation tools.
• Excellent understanding of power electronics including power supplies, batteries, chargers, power networks, etc.
• Strong bench troubleshooting skills with power supplies, oscilloscopes, power network analyzers, multimeters, etc.
• Good knowledge of microprocessors/controllers and digital communication protocols.
• Python coding experience.
