Lead Software Engineer (Navy Systems)

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to work on a new and emerging Navy tactical system that integrates with the full suite of combat sensors. This role involves providing software engineering support for a high-visibility Naval information system that integrates with EW sensors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide software engineering support for a high-visibility Naval information system
• Interface with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel

Requirements:

• Fifteen (15) years of experience in software design and engineering applied to program and system level development
• Five (5) years of real-time system and subsystem level software development experience
• Experience in C++, networking protocols, and electronic warfare systems
• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
• Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Agile methodology & knowledge of GIT, Jira, and BitBucket
• Object Oriented software design concepts
• Combat system integration and system architecture
