Lead Discrete and Process control system design utilizing AutoCAD and ePLAN softwares. Lead design teams responsible for designing control panels utilizing AutoCAD and ePLAN softwares. Perform calculations to ensure system main feed, branch circuits, control transformers, power supplies, communication loadings, and communication bandwidths are sized correctly. Design PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs using Rockwell and Siemens software packages. Design HMI (Human Machine Interface) programs using Rockwell and Siemens software packages. Integrate and program Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) drives and Rockwell and Siemens servo control systems. Integrate and program Kawasaki robots. Program system start-up/debug support. Facilitate system safety design reviews. Train customers on the systems provided by DACS.Although the Senior Controls Engineer will work in Brighton, Michigan, the Senior Controls Engineer will be required to travel 30% of working time to customer sites throughout North America.
