Lead Backend Engineer

Job Summary

As a Software Engineer, Backend, you'll be part of a team responsible for all business functionality that powers our partner ventures.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Design, develop and provide live support for businesses that empower our joint ventures.
2. Work closely with our leads to ensure all features meet our standards for knowability, scalability, and overall operational maturity.
3. Propose and socialize technical standards and best practices.
4. Be the technical evangelist for the venture.

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2. 5+ years experience working in Java development teams.
3. Extremely proficient in Java, Spring Boot, RDBMS (Postgres SQL equivalent) technologies.
4. Experience working with stakeholders to identify, document, analyze, implement, and test software requirements.
5. Passionate about technology, engineering quality, and automation.
6. Mid-High level expertise with "Infrastructure as Code" (e.g. ArgoCD, Terraform, Cloudformation etc.) and Azure cloud hosting platform.
