Job DescriptionJob Description: We are seeking a Delphi Developer with strong SQL experience to maintain and improve our legacy codebase. The ideal candidate will understand Delphi programming and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing Delphi applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members.

Work Environment: Industrial facility; may spend some time in plant but work area will be in the primarily in the office.
Physical Demands: Standing, walking, sitting for extending periods of time, light work that may include lifting up to 20 lbs.
Position type and expected hours of work: On-site full-time position, work schedule is typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, additional hours may be required, and some on call work is possible.
Travel: Some travel may be required.

QualificationsRequired Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Delphi Developer, or a willingness to learn.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management.
- Familiarity with legacy code maintenance and refactoring.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other programming languages (e.g., C#, Java).
- Knowledge of modern software development practices and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes.
- Experience with web services and APIs.
- Understanding of software security best practices.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
