Squadformers is seeking a talented, driven Senior Native iOS Developer to join our dynamic team in support of our exciting and meaningful startup clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Work with a team of talented Squad members to design/develop mobile and desktop solutions for meaningful projects.
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform in Swift and SwiftUI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications. Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and participate in software upgrades, revisions, fixes, and patches as mandated by the vendor.
- Design, develop, and document specifications throughout the project life cycle.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and weekly demos.
What we are looking for:
- 8+ years of hands-on iOS development experience including delivery of iOS applications from concept to production.
- Proven working experience in software development within iOS development.
- Have published one or more iOS apps in the App Store.
- A deep familiarity with Swift, possibly Objective-C and Cocoa Touch.
- Ideally, you possess experience in the following technologies:
- Swift and SwiftUI
- Grand Central Dispatch
- SQLite & Realm
- Combine framework
- Networking - Alamofire, Codable, etc.
- Objective-C
- Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text.
- Possess a broad level of skills in architecting solutions including mobile, web, integration middleware, database & data warehouse, front-end technology & framework, security, and cloud infrastructure.
- Innate passion to be excellent, be curious and to share your passion with your team as you work together to WOW our clients!
- You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Passionate about our values and love to grow.
- Self-starter, team player and independent — you can manage yourself efficiently.
- Able and willing to work 40hrs/week.
- A degree is not required.
