This is an entry-level role, and experience in every one of these areas is not required - training is provided on all core platforms, tools, and technologies you will need to know! But the following skills/experience are awesome to have, and will help get your career off to a running start:

1. Part-time/Full-time/summer job/internship experience is a must
2. Experience with open-source web development
3. Experience with web-based programming languages (JavaScript, HTML, etc.)
4. Project-level experience with at least one JavaScript-based project
5. Experience with Cloud Computing Programs, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, etc.
6. Experience with OOP and procedural programming methodologies
7. Understanding of software development life-cycles and best practices
8. Knowledge of standard-compliant HTML, CSS, and Javascript
9. Database experience (MySQL, Google BigQuery)
10. Experience with CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, Intuit, etc.)
11. Experience with JS Frameworks (JQuery, React, Vue, Backbone, etc.)
12. Experience with Git Version control (or other version control software)
13. Experience with package management and Task Runners (NPM, Yarn, Gulp, Grunt)
14. Experience with browser testing using built-in developer tools
15. Familiarity with TensorFlow and Machine Learning
16. Experience with NodeJS
17. Experience with SaaS monitoring software such as DataDog
18. Experience with data management using data pipeline tools
19. Previous agency experience

In This Role, You’ll Get To…

• Build new features to add to our product suite using modern frameworks such as ReactJS and Feathers for NodeJS.
• Utilize modern cloud technologies within Google Cloud Platform to ensure high availability
• Develop projects within individual namespaces pushed to deployment through Kubernetes
• Perform functional testing while also utilizing unit and pipeline tests set up through our Kubernetes and CI/CD deployments
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Quality Assurance Testers to keep projects within scope and delivered on time
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance using modern full-stack logging technologies
• Determine your own goals within each sprint cycle
• Report on project KPIs
• Explore new technologies and suggest new ways to enhance our roadmap to market velocity and reduce technical debt

A Typical ‘Day in the Life’ Might Consist of:

1. 5% planning and quoting new functionality
2. 10% consulting with other team members and clients
3. 10% performing maintenance and debugging
4. 75% building new functionality
5. 100% pursuing your own personal best while delivering real-world impact for our clients
